Getting started

Can I train with my friend or my partner?

Yes. Small groups of two or three who already know each other train together, and you get a live partner to drill with instead of only me.

Yes. Two or three people who already know each other works fine: a couple, two brothers, a few neighbors, a parent and a teenager.

Grappling needs a body to work against, and a partner you trust makes the drilling honest. The trade is attention. In a group of three I am splitting the hour. Chasing a fight, or working around an injury? Come alone.

Starting with people you already know is common among women: training with friends. Siblings close in age drill well together. Someone who only wants to watch is fine too: who else can be there.

Tell me how many people and what ages when you message me.
