1. Who we are

rocknrollfightcompany.com (the "site") is run by Rock N Roll Fight Company, the martial arts coaching business of Coach Rex Pena in Ventura County, CA ("we", "us"). Contact: Rexyrnr@gmail.com.

2. The site is information only

Everything on the site, including the blog, describes our coaching and shares general martial arts and fitness information. Nothing on the site is:

an offer, a price quote or a contract. Rates are never published here: they are discussed personally with Coach Rex through Instagram direct message, and sessions and schedules are agreed with him directly;
medical, legal or professional advice;
a substitute for in-person instruction. Don't try techniques from an article or video without a qualified coach present.

We try to keep the site accurate and current, but details such as availability, service areas and gym plans can change. Confirm anything important with us directly.

3. Training involves real risk

Martial arts, combat sports, self-defense and conditioning training carry an inherent risk of injury, including serious injury. Talk to a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition or a past injury.

Using this site doesn't create a coaching relationship. Before you train with us, we'll ask you (or, for anyone under 18, a parent or guardian) to read and sign a separate liability waiver and participation agreement. That agreement, not these terms, governs training.

4. Results

Stories about fighters and students describe their own experience and effort. They don't promise that you'll get the same results.

5. Content and trademarks

The text, photos, logos and design of the site belong to Rock N Roll Fight Company or to the people who took or appear in the photos. The name "Rock N Roll Fight Company" and its logos are ours. You're welcome to link to any page and to share it on social media. Please don't copy, republish or sell the content or photos without written permission.

Fighters, organizations and events named on the site belong to their respective owners. Naming them doesn't mean they endorse us.

If you appear in a photo on this site and you want it removed, just ask and we'll take it down. No questions asked. See Photos of you in the Privacy Policy for how to reach us.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the site to break the law, or try to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it or gain unauthorized access to it.

7. Other websites

The site links to Instagram, Facebook, Bandcamp, Apple Music, Yelp and other services we don't control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for their content.

8. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rock N Roll Fight Company and Coach Rex Pena are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. This section doesn't limit any liability that can't be limited under California law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ventura County, California.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.
