Who we are

This website, rocknrollfightcompany.com (the "site"), is run by Rock N Roll Fight Company, the martial arts coaching business of Coach Rex Pena in Ventura County, CA ("we", "us"). If you have a question about this policy, email Rexyrnr@gmail.com.

What we collect on this site

Nothing, directly. The site is a set of static pages. It has:

no sign-up, login or account;
no contact form or any other form that sends data to us;
no cookies;
no analytics, heat-mapping or session-recording scripts;
no advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking pixels.

The fonts, images and scripts are served from this site's own domain. Loading a page doesn't contact Google, Meta or any other third party.

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see how the site appears in search results. These are the only outside services we use for the site. Neither runs any code on the site, and neither sets anything in your browser.

These tools give us aggregate reports that the search engines produce from their own search activity: which search terms showed the site, how many times it appeared, how many clicks it got, and whether the pages can be crawled. Those reports don't identify you. Your searches on Google or Bing are governed by those companies' own privacy policies:

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. It may keep this in server logs for security and operations. We don't get access to those logs and we don't use them. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Storage in your browser

The site uses your browser's sessionStorage to remember one thing: that you've already seen the intro animation, so it doesn't play again. It holds a single on/off value, it never leaves your device, it isn't a cookie, and it's deleted when you close the tab.

The music player

The About page has a button to play The Pretty Uglys on Bandcamp. The Bandcamp player loads only if you press that button. Once it loads, Bandcamp may collect information under the Bandcamp privacy policy.

When you contact us

To book a session you message us on Instagram, call or text, or email. Those messages go through Instagram (Meta), your phone carrier or your email provider. Their own privacy policies apply, and so does ours once we receive the message. We use what you send only to reply, arrange training and keep you safe while you train. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Photos of you

Some photos on this site were taken at the gym, at seminars and on fight nights, so real students, training partners and fighters appear in them.

If you're in a photo and you want it off the site, just say so and it comes down. No questions asked, no reason needed. Message @rocknrollfightcompany on Instagram, text 805-759-1133, or email Rexyrnr@gmail.com. Tell us which photo, or just describe it: "the one on the training page with the blue gloves" is enough.

We'll take it down as soon as we can, usually within a few days, and we won't ask you to explain or try to talk you out of it. A parent or guardian can ask on behalf of anyone under 18. The same goes for your name or your fight record: if you'd rather not be named here, tell us and we'll remove it.

Links to other sites

The site links to Instagram, Facebook, Bandcamp, Apple Music and Yelp. When you follow a link you leave this site, and that site's privacy policy applies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone. Parents or guardians book and attend any training for minors.

Your California privacy rights

We don't sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and we don't use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you've contacted us and want to know what we hold about you, or want it corrected or deleted, email Rexyrnr@gmail.com. We won't treat you differently for asking.

Changes to this policy

If the site changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example by adding a form or an analytics tool, we'll update this page first and change the effective date at the top.
