Training at your place

Can my family watch the session?

Yes. It is your house. Partners, parents and kids sit in all the time, and for a nervous first session it usually helps.

Yes. Bring whoever you want.

Most people train alone with me, which is the point of a private session: nobody is watching, nobody is waiting for the mat. But it is your session. If your partner wants to sit in, if a friend drove you, if you would rather not be alone with a stranger the first time, that is all fine and you do not owe me a reason. Women often bring someone to the first one.

With kids I want a parent there, every time, start to finish.

One ask: tell me beforehand. If somebody is going to end up drilling with you rather than watching, I bring a second set of gear. And if having an audience is the thing making you nervous, say so and we will do the first one with nobody there at all.
