You are probably really asking whether you are too old. You are not, and I am a poor candidate to tell you otherwise. Starting late changes what you train, not whether you train: more technique, longer warm ups, fewer stupid rounds. See whether you are too old to start. Well past forty and after self-defense rather than sport? Learning this in your sixties.
