I am a woman who has never trained. Where do I start?
With one session and a conversation. No fitness, no gear, no partner needed. Tell Rex what worries you and he builds around it.
You start with one hour. Not a membership, not a commitment, not a plan for the next six months.
Before that hour, tell me the honest version. That you have never done anything like this. That you are worried about looking stupid. That you walk to your car at night and do not like it. That your shoulder is bad. All of that is useful to me and none of it is unusual.
You need nothing to begin. Clothes you can move in, a bottle of water, and a flat patch of garage or grass. I bring the mats and the pads. No shoes to buy, no gloves, no gym bag in the hallway reminding you that you have not gone.
The first hour is mostly the simple, unglamorous things. How to stand. How to keep distance. How to break a grip. How to get back to your feet. Those matter most and they are learnable in an afternoon.
If you would rather not do it anywhere near men, say so. It is a normal request and I arrange it all the time: what women-only sessions are. If you are pregnant or recently had a baby, start with your doctor rather than with me and bring me what they told you: training pregnant or postpartum.
Being nervous beforehand is close to universal, including among the ones who look calm about it, and it fades faster than you would believe. See nerves before a first session.
You can do exactly one and stop. No package, no contract, no phone call afterwards talking you into more. See one session, and you decide after. Nobody chases you. Message me and tell me where you are.
